With the Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson right around the corner, there are lots of activities that people can sign up for now.

Emily Dyer with the Bell Tower Festival Committee says aside from purchasing a $50 ticket for the Thursday Downtown Dinner, people can also register a two-person team for Friday night’s Bags Tournament, and the Greene County Medical Center Golf Tournament. Then on Saturday, Dyer points out there’s a new mobile Escape Room, a pickleball tournament, wine tasting, the Jefferson Rotary Parade, and a car show that all have registrations available now, and some with limited space.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation are also accepting registrations for the 3-on-3 basketball tournament, the Ding Dong Dash one-mile, 5K and 10K run and walk, as well as the disc golf tournament. JPRD Director Denny Hammen says the 3-on-3 basketball tournament is open to anyone of all ages.

“And it’s always kind of interesting to see the groups that sign up. A lot of times it’ll be players that played together in high school, sometimes it’ll be young 20-somethings that just happen to know each other and maybe played together in other venues. You get all different kinds of backgrounds involved and all different age groups. You’ll get them up through 30 and 40-years-old and as young as the teenagers and middle schoolers.”

Most of the activities that require a registration will have a fee. Click here to access all of the registrations.
