The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association recently announced nominations for All State Soccer teams, and West Central Valle saw 2 athletes named. Junior Nate Gerling was named as the goalkeeper for the first team. Gerling started in all 17 games for the Wildcats, putting in 1,271 minutes as goalie. In that time he only allowed 17 goals and made 89 of the teams 90 saves for a save percentage of 84%. Fellow Junior Owen Weber was name an honorable mention, also starting all 17 games and scoring 3 points for the team.
