
The ADM Tigers baseball team picked up a 10-4 road win over the Carlisle Wildcats in a Raccoon River Conference regular season matchup last night. The ADM Tigers had ten total hits in the game. Junior Rhylan Stine-Smith had two of the ten hits going 2-4 on the night with two singles while junior Grant Rychnovsky went 1-4 with a solo home run and team leading 4th home run of the season for the ADM Tigers. Senior Ben Smith went 2-3 with a single and double getting three runs batted in. Senior Sam Holloway went 2-3 with single and double with two runs batted in and senior Nate Fisher went 1-4 with a single and driving in two runs and sophomore Jaxson Book went 1-4 with a single and also drove in two runs. Senior Christian Madison went 1-1 with a getting a single in the game. Junior Grant Rychnovsky was the starting pitcher for the ADM Tigers and pitched five solid innings gave up three runs with two of those being earned runs while allowing five hits and striking out seven Carlisle batters. Then senior Ben Smith came in to relieve Grant Rychnovsky in the top of the sixth inning getting one earned run on three hits while striking out three Carlisle Wildcat batters to secure the win for the ADM Tigers.
This win for the ADM Tiger baseball team will put them at 13-4 overall record and 5-1 in the Raccoon River Conference record on the season. The ADM Tigers are currently on a ten game winning streak heading into their next game. Today the ADM Tigers will host the Ballard Bombers in a makeup game from last weeks postponed game, first pitch of that game will be at 7:30 pm this evening. Then on Saturday June 10th they will travel to Fort Dodge to take on Bishop Heelan with a 5:00 pm first pitch. The next ADM Tigers varsity baseball broadcast on KKRF – K1079 FM and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com will be Monday June 12th when they host the Gilbert Tigers in a Raccoon River Conference regular season matchup with a first pitch at 7:30 pm.
