Recent numbers have come in from the United States Drought Monitor, and despite recent rains, everything has gotten dryer in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

The entirety of Dallas County is in an abnormally dry state, while about 70-percent of Guthrie and 30-percent of Greene Counties are also abnormally dry. The majority of Greene County though, starting in the northwest corner, as well as the northwest corner of Guthrie County, are under a moderate drought.
