The Guthrie County Hospital recently announced the hiring of their new Chief Executive Officer.
Board of Trustees Chairperson Mike Underwood says that Chris Stipe will be the new CEO, with over 25 years of progressive health care leadership. Stipe has a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from Kansas State University.
Stipe currently serves as the Executive Director for The Commons in Enid, Oklahoma. He previously served as President and CEO for the McPherson Center for Health and the Manhattan Surgical Hospital in Kansas. Prior to his work in Kansas, Stipe served as the CEO for Clarinda Regional Health Center in Clarinda, Iowa for nine years. Stipe will begin his role as CEO for Guthrie County Hospital on August 1st.
