The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Council will consider for approval cigarette permit renewals for Dollar General and Hometown Foods, beer and liquor permit renewals for the Guthrie County Agricultural Society, Prime Time Restaurant, Apres Bar Company and GMS Productions and a building permit for the 100 block of North 1st Street.

They will then hear an update on the Little Charger Early Learning Center from Laura Robson, workers compensation renewal with State Street Insurance Owner Becky Benton, and the 28E Agreement with the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office. The Council will also hear a department report from the street department, and from CIty Hall. In the update from City Hall, City Clerk Kris Arrasmith will discuss the upcoming citywide cleanup, an Alliant purchase Agreement and Tropical Sno.

The meeting will begin at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers in City Hall. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting later in the week.
