The Adel Public Library is excited about their numbers so far for their Summer Reading Program.
Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says that they signed up nearly 500 participants for their “Find Your Voice Summer Reading Program,” that extends from infants to adults. Pucks says that people can still sign up and take part in their jam-packed calendar with fun and educational events.
“With summer reading, we try to keep everybody busy with lots of optional programming here at the library. Next week we have things going on pretty much every single day. Our story times have started up on a regular basis.”
Puck notes people can still sign up and must do it by the end of July. She says at the end of the program they will have giveaways and grand prizes that they will be drawn for at the end of the program. Those interested must pick up a signup sheet in the library.
The best way to see the upcoming programs is by checking out the libraries programming page or following them on Facebook and Instagram.
