PCM defeated Perry 7-2 Monday night in Heart of Iowa action from Prairie City.  The Mustangs scored five runs in the bottom of the third inning to take control of the game.  They tacked on two more in the fourth to build a commanding 7-1 lead.  The Jayettes pushed across single tallies in both the first and seventh innings.  Riley Johannes finished with a pair of doubles and three hits to lead the Mustangs.  Freshman Riley Parsons struck out four and allowed one earned run to pick up her second victory this season over Perry.  The Jayettes finished with six hits. Perry falls to 8-9 on the season while PCM improves to 9-7.  The Jayettes return home tonight to take on Urbandale in non-conference action.
