The West Central Valley Wildcats baseball team fell to Woodward-Granger on Monday night by a score of 10-2. The Wildcats fell behind 7-1 in the 3rd and Woodward-Granger never looked back, sealing the 8 run victory. Kaedon Lindsay had 3 hits on the game for the Wildcats and scored 1 of the 2 runs that West Central Valley had on the night. The Wildcats fall to 12-9 on the season with the loss and 7-7 in conference play in the West Central division. While Woodward-Granger improves to 13-4 overall and 12-4 in the conference. The Wildcats remain at 6th in the conference while the Hawks are still in 3rd as well, sitting behind Pleasantville and Van Meter. West Central Valley will look to snap their 2 game losing streak on the diamond tonight at home as they take on the other Wildcats from Glidden-Ralston tonight. First pitch is at 7:00 at West Central Valley High School.

Wildcat’s softball was victorious last night, knocking off Woodward-Granger at home, 8-6. The Wildcats were down 4-1 in the 5th until they pulled ahead in the later stages of the game in the 6th and 7th. The Wildcats win moves them to 14-8 overall and 9-5 in the conference behind Des Moines Christian. The wins marks their 4th in a row. They will host Baxter tonight as well. First pitch of that game is at 5:30.
