The Adel Good Samaritan Food Pantry is starting to hand out meals to help families fill the void during the summer months. 

They are bringing back their weekly summer food packs to children that contain seven breakfast and lunch items, and 14 snacks. The food pantry will be dispersing these bags from noon until 2pm on Monday and Tuesday and from 5 to 6pm on the fourth Monday of each month. In addition, the food pantry will have food packs available at every farmers market from 4 to 7pm on Tuesday nights. There are no income or guidelines to receive a bag.
