The Dallas Center-Grimes softball and baseball teams steal one on the road against a conference opponent Wednesday.

The Baseball team defeated Pella by a final score of 14 to 5 in seven innings. The bats came alive  for Mustangs as they scored in just about every innings including three in the first innning, three in the second inning, four in the third and one in the fifth and sixth innings. Trevor Hamil got the win on the mound pitching a complete game allowing all five runs, but struck out seven in the process.

The Mustangs improve their conference record to (12-3) and will get a day off today and then take on Norwalk on the road Friday.

The softball team won by a final score of 6 to 2 over Pella and move their conference record to (12-2). There will be a big matchup on KDLS 94.3 99.7 FM 1310 Am or on our website live stream as they take on Norwalk, who has the best record in the Little Hawkeye Conference with coverage starting at 5:30pm.
