Greene County remained in the hunt for a Heart of Iowa championship Wednesday night defeating Perry at the PAC 10-1.  The Rams scored six times in the top of the fifth inning to put the game away.  Olivia Shannon led the way with three hits while Emma Hoyle added a home run and four RBI’s.  Hoyle was dominant inside the pitching circle surrendering only three hits while striking out 15 Perry batters.  Perry falls to 6-6 in league play and 8-11 on the season.  The Jayettes will look to snap a six game losing skid tomorrow when they travel to Madrid.
