The Panorama Panther softball team was back on the diamond Wednesday night.

The Panthers were back home to take on the East Union Eagles. It was a match up of two teams that were trying to get back on track. Both teams were 2-3 in their last five games coming into this one.

Panorama started the scoring. They scored two runs in the first to take a 2-0 lead. They would add another in the third and held a 3-1 lead after two. However, the third inning is when the game would completely change. The Eagles put in five runs to take a 6-3 lead going into the fourth. Panorama would close the gap to two runs after scoring a run in the fourth. The East Union bats lit up the Panthers in the fifth inning scoring eight runs. That would be enough to lift the Eagles to victory, 14-4.

Panorama will hit the road to play Earlham in a double-header tonight. The action starts at 5:30pm.
