People of all ages will have a chance to learn more about cold-blooded vertebrates this week.

The Forest Park Museum and Arboretum will host a program called “Reptile Talk,” from 10 to 11am on Friday. Outreach Coordinator Sarah Gilchrist says that attendees will learn more about their wide range of reptiles they have at the museum.

“You might not know, but at the Forest Park Museum, we actually have quite a few reptiles, amphibians. We have a little, I don’t really want to call it a petting zoo, but we have some fun things that kids like to come to, especially to watch. And so we’re going to actually talk about our little reptile friends that are in that area.”

Gilchrist says the program is free and registration is not required, but helps them with a head count. She also adds that people can come to the Forest Park Museum at 10am every Monday to watch the snakes be fed.
