The Greene County Conservation Board is seeking applications to fill a vacancy.

Conservation Director Tanner Scheuermann says interested individuals don’t need prior experience in conservation to be on the board, but it will be a plus. He points out the Conservation Board is charged with conserving local natural resources, providing and utilizing these resources, and promoting the health and welfare of local residents through an organized program of public recreation. 

Scheuermann says the board is made up of five community members that serve staggered five year terms, with this vacancy to fill out the rest of the term through December 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted by July 11th and emailed to Scheuermann or mailed to the address below. Copies of the applications can be found through a link below to the county’s website.
