The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors meets in regular session today.

The Board will consider an Iowa Retail Permit Application for cigarette/tobacco/nicotine/vapor for Lake Panorama National Resort and a payroll change notice for Harley Hester, a dispatcher for the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office who has completed the six month probationary period. They will then hear department head updates from County Conservation Director Brad Halterman, Health Services Director Jotham Arber and County Engineer Josh Sebern.

Arber will discuss the community needs assessment with public health, billing change for Lake Panorama Septic Checks with environmental health, and weekend dates and a point of sale system with the transfer station. Sebern will discuss a 28E agreement with Adair County for road maintenance and snow and ice control along the county line, a 28E agreement between the county and Stuart for a multimodal project discretionary grant project, and a 28E agreement with Menlo for road construction and grant application agreement, and purchase of gravel.

The Board will then consider approval for pay applications 31 and 32 for the Samuels Group, and county expenses for the Grand Street Project. The meeting starts at 9am in the Board Room.
