
Sunday, June 25th
9:32am: Craig Freeman of Jefferson reported ongoing issues with his minor son. The officer documented the information.
1:05pm: Carrie Sheehy of Jefferson reported two stray dogs running loose in the Sparky’s Gas Station parking lot. The Officer responded and found the dogs owner was correcting the issue.
2:42pm: The Greene County Ambulance was dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of West Vest Street. The Officer also responded and assisted as requested.
3:31pm: Jenna Mischke of Jefferson reported a stray dog running loose in the 800 block of West Lincoln Way. The Officer located the dog but could not catch it. The Officer is investigating and will be issuing a citation.
4:52pm: Kelly Greving of Jefferson reported a stray dog loose in the 300 block of South Wilson Street. The Officer picked up the dog and brought it to the animal holding facility.
6:45pm: Mariah Fulton reported a verbal domestic dispute occurring in the 500 block of North Olive Street. The Officer assisted in mediating the situation and separating the parties involved.
6:55pm: Jennifer Parker of Arcadia reported a stray dog in the 100 block of West Lincoln Way. The Officer picked up the dog and brought it to the animal holding facility.
11:56pm: Brittany Cook of Jefferson reported fireworks being set off near the 100 block of Ram Drive. The Officer responded and waited in the area for 30 minutes. The Officer heard no fireworks being set off.
Monday, June 26th
10:00am: An Officer began an investigation involving the allegations of Domestic Abuse Assault occurring in the 800 block of South Elm Street. The Officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Robert Charles Harvilicz of Jefferson at approximately 15:00 hours. Harvilicz was charged with “Driving While License Revoked”, “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (two counts)”, “Domestic Abuse Assault – 2nd Offense”, “Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by Domestic Abuse Offender”, “Controlled Substance Violation”, “Possession of Controlled Substance – Marijuana”.
10:22am: David Ogden of Jefferson reported fraudulent charges on his Credit Card. The Officer is investigating.
1:42pm: Rachel Haupert of Jefferson brought a stray cat into the Greene County Jail to be taken to the animal holding facility. The Officer was busy with high priority calls and a Greene County Deputy took the cat to the shelter.
3:41pm: Tim Pound of Jefferson reported theft of a forklift safety basket from the 200 block of West Washington Street. The Officer is investigating.
5:13pm: Dave Morlan of Jefferson reported a damaged door on a residence in the 200
block of South Georgia Street. The Officer checked the property and is making attempts to notify the owner.
5:34pm: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Jefferson Officer for a four-vehicle traffic accident having occurred at the intersection of 220th Street and Forrest Avenue. The Officer assisted as requested.
6:48pm: Harmony Thompson of Jefferson reported a cat with an injured leg at her residence in the 300 block of South Walnut Street. The Officer determined Harmony had been caring for the cat and was responsible for its continued treatment.
8:37pm: Ava Jablonski reported a stray dog in the 600 block of South Olive Street. The Officer responded and found the dog had already been picked up by its owner.
9:23pm: Tasha Pierschbacher of Perry reported having struck a deer with her gray, “1999” Honda Accord in the 1500 block of 235 th Street. The Officer took the report at the scene. Approximately $200 damage was caused to the vehicle.
9:48pm: Morgan Downs of Jefferson reported loud construction occurring on a private driveway in the 300 block of Edgewood Avenue. The Officer spoke with the workers and construction was stopped for the night.

While on patrol an Officer issued five citations for violations of the City of Jefferson’s “Street Sweeping Parking Ordinance”
