
The 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County recently announced the results from their second quarter donation.
The non-profit organization selected the Little Charger Early Learning Center (ELC) to receive $13,400 in grant funds. Laura Robson who is withELC said that they started a project to build new facilities that will include five classrooms, a kitchen, a director’s office and a secure entryway. She added that original plans put the cost of the new facilities at $1.4 million, but that as time progressed, costs increased by roughly $800,000. The ELC Board raised the initial $1.4 million, but is continuing to apply for grants to finish raising the additional funds.
The 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County considered the Guthrie County Hospital Foundation and the Panora Police Department for their second quarter donation.
