Sophomore Noah Hinote led the Greene County pitching staff during the 2023 season. Hinote was the only player to win a game this season for the 3-20 Rams who ended the season with a 6-1 loss at Alleman to number 2 ranked North Polk last Friday night in the opening round of Class 3A Substate 2.

Hinote led the Rams in most pitching categories. He was 3-4 on the season with 41 innings pitched, a .179 opponents’ batting average, 36 hits allowed, and 38 strikeouts. His earned run average finished at 4.10, which also was the best among Greene County pitchers.  The team ERA was 6.53 combined for the 10 pitchers who threw any innings on the varsity this season.
