Monday, July 10th

10:02am: Russell Gardner advised a Jefferson resident was sending him Harassing Text Messages. He was advised to report the issue to his law enforcement in Panora.

10:07am: A caller advised of an Unsupervised Burning occurring at 300 East State Street. The officer spoke to the subjects, who were standing by the fire. No violations of ordinances were occurring.

4:13pm: Dispatch advised on a 911 Hang Up Call from the area of the 1000 Block of West Washington Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who was learning how to use her new phone.

4:50pm: Dispatch advised of an Open Line 911 call, which did not map. The officer could take no action without a location.

6:21pm: An officer performed a Traffic Stop on a vehicle pulling a trailer in the 1000 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. The trailer had a brake light, which was not functioning. The officer arrested Royce Gonnelly, 32 of Jefferson for, OWI 1st Offense – Serious, and Driving While Suspended – Simple.”

9:14pm: An officer performed a Traffic Stop near Central and Walnut Streets, with a vehicle who did not have its headlights on. The male driver was bleeding from the nose and advised the officer his girlfriend had just assaulted him and was now walking north of Grimmell Road. He advised the assault had occurred near 777 Wild Rose Lane. The officer located the female and arrested Christina King, 46 of Rippey for, “Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense – Simple.”
