The public is invited to a unique opportunity to get some behind-the-scenes look of one agricultural-based business in Jefferson.

The Iowa Speciality Crop Growers Association is hosting a field day at Deal’s Orchard on July 27th. The event includes a tour of the orchard and will focus on their summer produce and floriculture areas, including sweet corn, tomatoes, zucchini, and sunflowers. Following a lunch, attendees will then get to tour more of the orchard and talk about their cider production.

The field day is free for any ISCGA member, otherwise it is $10 for non-members. Registration deadline is July 18th to ensure a proper head count for lunch. ISCGA is an organization for producers of fruits, vegetables, and specialty crops in Iowa. See the contact information below to reserve your spot.
