The Winterset Huskies and Fort Dodge Dodgers girl softball teams will face each other this Wednesday afternoon, July 19, at 11:30 a.m. They will compete in Fort Dodge at the Iowa Central Field in Harlan Rogers Park for the class 4A state semifinal.

Both teams are looking for a chance to advance to 2023 Iowa state finals that will take place on Thursday, July 20. If they lose they will take on the winners of the 1:30 p.m. game between North Scott and Norwalk.

Fort Dodge beat ADM on Monday, July 17, with a score of 8-3. Fort Dodge being the higher seed will be taking on the role of the home team.
