Earlier this year, the Stuart Library Foundation announced the recipients of the 2023 International Travel Scholarships.

Those lucky winners have completed their trips, and will now be giving presentations at the Stuart Public Library at the end of the month to share their adventures and things they may have learned during their travels as well. Landry Norton traveled Europe with a tour group, going to London, Amsterdam, Paris, Lucerne, the Swiss Alps, the Venice region, Florence and Rome. Avery Hazen was accompanied by her father, and traveled around Greece. Both will give their presentations on July 31st in the library at 6:15pm.

The International Travel Scholarships are funded through a donation from an anonymous donor, and the goal of the program is to allow young adults aged 18-25 in the West Central Valley School District the opportunity to travel outside of the United States to try and build knowledge about different global cultures. The next opportunity to apply for the scholarship will be in September.
