The Dallas County Master Gardeners are excited giving people beautiful flowers with a program.
They will have a make and take flower bouquet demo from 6 to 7:30pm every Tuesday through the month of September at the Dallas County Fairgrounds. Master Gardener Member Megan Will says that the program will start on July 25th. She encourages people to come out to their demonstration garden, and pick flowers, and they will teach people how to build a bouquet.
“We have volunteers there, we cut them and you can see all the flowers that are growing there and can tell you what the different kinds are. And you can make a bouquet and go home. So it’s kind of fun. We’ve had families or the whole family or a bunch of sisters get together and kind of do that, and then they go to dinner somewhere. But it’s fun. You get to see the garden and make a bouquet.”
Attendees will need to bring a medium sized vase or mason jar to put the bouquet, and the cost will be $10. More information can be found here.
