The 2023 Greene County Rams football team faces a tougher schedule than in recent seasons, but has a lot of varsity experience returning from the 8-2 team from 2022 that was top 10 ranked in Class 2A and won the District 8 title. Senior Cody Allen is a returning starter and member of the leadership team this season.

Allen talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about what he sees as the advantages of being familiar with his teammates. “I’ve been playing with these guys for a long time now so I kind of think the numbers that we have as seniors really let’s us have a good chemistry together and be confident. We know each other’s skills and weaknesses.”

Ram football camp continues at the middle school through Thursday. Official practice begins on Monday, Aug. 7.
