
Tuesday, August 1st
6:59am: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of North Chestnut Street resulted in Debra Geesman of Sergeant Bluff being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
2:47pm: Tasheena Sebourn requested a Welfare Check on her young daughter, who was staying with a grandparent at 1127 McDuffie Drive. The child had advised her mother she had been left alone at the residence for several minutes. The officer reported the incident to DHS.
3:28pm: An officer assisted a motorist with Mechanical Issues near 220th and Elm Streets. The vehicle was able to moved to a private parking lot. To be removed on the following day.
4:00pm: Felicia Conroy reported a stolen 2000 Harley Davidson Motorcycle from 303 North Cedar Street. The officer entered the vehicle into NCIC as Stolen. The officer is investigating.
4:30pm: A caller requested a Welfare Check on several children, who had been in a local business with a female subject. The caller advised the children were very dirty and the female kept screaming at the children. She provided a registration plate of the vehicle to the officer. The officer determined who the female was and asked a deputy to conduct a Welfare Check, as they live in Grand Junction. The deputy checked on the children, who were fine.
7:04pm: An officer arrested a subject on an active arrest warrant at 409 West Greenewood Road. Eric Joshua Ireland, 44 of Jefferson had an outstanding warrant for, “Domestic Assault – Serious.”
7:31pm: Robert Mobley reported his neighbor was mowing grass, and he could not relax and his dog was barking. The officer advised that there are no ordinances being violated by mowing at that time.
8:22pm: An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a Medical call in the 900 Block of West South Street.
11:33pm: Tanisha Rice reported someone outside her apartment, located at 102 ½ North Olive Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.
