Current West Central Valley football coach Jim Lindsay recently took over as the new athletic director for the West Central Valley Wildcats. Jim came in replacing Ethan Calvert for the 2023 athletic season for the Wildcats. Lindsay described his thoughts surrounding the new role in the West Central Valley Athletic department.

“So far it’s been going fairly well. I’ve just been trying to get used to how all the things work behind the scenes like I said before. Also trying to make sure all the schedules are right and things like that. But you know so far so good,” said Lindsay.

Lindsay said it is all about bringing good people into each position and that is what he intends on bringing West Central Valley.

“Were just gonna keep focusing on hiring good people in our activity spots. We still got a couple of positions open for the spring so that’s our focus is to just get good people in those positions and people who are willing to work in the direction we want to go. Ethan did a great job at taking over and turning things around and so I hope I can just keep us going in that direction,” said Lindsay.

Lindsay will definitely look to do just that as the fall sports season is right around the corner for the West Central Valley Wildcats.
