The 2nd Annual 50107 Summerfest in Grand Junction is this weekend and there are a few things people can register for and purchase ahead of time.

Linda Hoffman is one of the co-organizers and she says Scott Amusement from Pilot Mound is bringing several carnival rides, food and games for families to enjoy. Pre-sale tickets are available now for $7.50 for a strip of ten tickets. If you purchase two strips of tickets, you can trade those for a wristband that is good for a three hour time period either Friday or Saturday. The carnival is from 5-8pm on Friday and noon to 3pm or 5-8pm on Saturday at the former school lot. Pre-sale tickets are at Peoples Bank, Jagged Edge Salon and the 30 Yard Line, all in Grand Junction.

Other activities that happen on Saturday that people can join include the free 5K walk/run, the parade, the Grand Junction Lions Club Car Show, a kickball and bags tournaments, and a vendor show. For a list of who to contact for each of the activities, you can find that information below.
