As the Greene County High School volleyball program prepares for the start of the regular season, head coach Chris Heisterkamp talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the all-important setter position. Natalie Heupel graduated in May after a program record setting career. “We’re trying some things. We had an injury to Payton (Kokenge) so we had to move who we thought was going to be our setter into her position. We then moved up a sophomore setter, so we’re trying some things. We don’t know if we’ll stay with that or not.”

The Rams have a scrimmage on Saturday in Rockwell City at South Central Calhoun Middle School before opening the regular season on Aug. 22 at Dallas Center-Grimes High School vs. DC-G, Mason City, and Ballard (Huxley).
