The Greene County Rams and Ogden Bulldogs will hold a football scrimmage at Linduska Field in Jefferson tomorrow night. Head coach Caden Duncan outlined the format for Raccoon Valley Radio and said the varsity teams will start at 6 o’clock and play two-20 minute running clock quarters. The clock will only stop on change of possession and each team will have one timeout per quarter. All special teams will be played, but the play is dead once the ball is kicked or punted. The ball will be placed on the 20 yard line after kickoffs and wherever it’s caught or is ruled dead on punts.

The JV teams will play one 12 minute running clock quarter with the same rules as the varsity. The fourth quarter will be for JV2 and will be untimed with two sets of 10 plays each.

Friday is also the Fall Pep Rally from the Greene County Activities Booster Club starting at 5 p.m. with introduction of cheerleaders, volleyball players, and cross-country coaches. A meal for a donation will be served at 5:30 p.m. Introduction of the football Rams will be after the two varsity quarters have been completed.

The Rams open the regular season on Aug. 25 at Carroll Athletic Field vs. the Carroll Tigers. There’s a JV2 game at 4:15 p.m. with varsity kickoff at 7 p.m. All Ram football games starting Aug. 25 and throughout the season can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
