Wednesday, August 16th

6:17am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 300 Block of North Locust Street for, “Parking Between the Lot Line and Curb Line.”

9:22am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical call in the 200 Block of East Russell Street.

10:30am: Hy Vee reported the Short Change Artist struck the store on 08/12/2023 at 106 West Washington Street. The subject left with $150.00 in cash. This is the same suspect from Fareway. The officer is investigating.

3:59pm: Shirley Stapleton reported a Stray Dog near Edgewood and Elm Streets. The officer did not locate the animal.

7:01pm: Bella Hamann captured a Stray Dog in the 200 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

7:27pm: Dispatch advised of an Open 911 call from the 100 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer did not locate anyone needing assistance in the area.

8:11pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Reed Streets resulted in Brandi Hicks of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
