A Dallas County resident will be honored at the Iowa State Fair.
Audie Carman of Dallas County will be inducted into the 4-H Hall of Fame during a
Ceremony at 1:30pm on Sunday at the 4-H Exhibits Building at this year’s fair. Carman has spent 15 years volunteering as a swine superintendent, and supported 4-H members by helping
to get concrete in their swine barn, built rabbit cages and sponsor trophies for the fair. The inductees have demonstrated dedication, encouragement, commitment and guidance to Iowa’s 4-H’ers through the years. The Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame was initiated in 2002 to help commemorate the 100th anniversary of 4-H.
