A Wellsburg man has a charge recently dismissed in Greene County District Court.
According to court documents, Greene County Attorney Thomas Laehn motioned to the court to dismiss a Class D Felony charge for second degree theft against 40-year-old Michael Moeller with the reason given that it was “in the interest of justice.” District Court Judge Joseph McCarville granted the dismissal.
Moeller was charged from the incident that he was accused of using a check that bounced for several vehicle-related items from a Scranton business owner. The total, with additional charges, was over $6,000. Online court records show the charge was dismissed on August 14th.
