The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday.
The Council approved a liquor license for Incredi-Bowl, a building permit for the 100 block of South 12th Street, and the Council was invited to an accreditation meeting on October 11th by Main Street Guthrie Center Director Lindsay Gilland. In Guthrie Center Farmers Market Co-Organizer Kristina Swensen’s update to the Council, she let them know that they are looking for some new tables, as well as planning to increase price for vendors next year so that they can pay better for live music to draw more people in, and are looking for new trash cans.
The Council then approved the reason for proposal (RFP) for an annual exam by Faller, Kincheloe and Company, PLC, and looked over the temporary shipping container permit drawn by City Clerk Kris Arrasmith and the compliance officer. No action was taken at this time, as the application still needs to be codified at a later date.
