The AC/GC Chargers cross country teams are coming off an impressive performance at Dallas Center-Grimes last week. Tomorrow the teams will be on the road, and will compete at the ISU Cross Country Course. The Chargers will face runners competing for the ADM Tigers, Earlham Cardinals, Madrid Tigers, Pella Christian Eagles, Van Meter Bulldogs, and nine other teams. The boys team is currently ranked 1st in Class 1A, while the girls team is currently sitting at 17th. Looking at individual rankings for the boys team, senior Andrew Mahaffey is ranked 9th, while junior Gavin Sloss is sitting at 27th.
