A reminder for Greene County residents that tomorrow will be a special event honoring those individuals who lost their lives in one of the deadliest attacks in US history.

The “Remembering September 11, 2001 In Song and Verse” will take place at the Churdan City Park, with the Churdan Public Library serving ice cream treats with a free-will donation at 6:30pm. The proceeds will go back to the library for general expenses. The program will begin at 7pm with some of the Paton-Churdan students singing “God Bless America” followed by the Town and Country Band playing various patriotic music. Additionally, members of the community will also do readings in honor of the individuals that died in the 9/11 attacks.  

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
