ADM Tigers played against the Lewis Central Titans on Friday night, and though they didn’t come out with a win, they showed their potential in their new class. Despite losing their star running back, Brevin Doll, early in the game, the Tigers’ offense and defense fought hard to keep the game competitive. At times, they even took the lead, making it a closely contested match.

The final score ended with Lewis Central ahead 38-31, but ADM’s effort was great against the class 4A powerhouse. Aiden Flora, a senior, had a significant impact, with 78 passing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 28 attempts. Rhylan Stine-Smith, also a senior, contributed with five receptions for 25 yards, and junior Brayden Rynearson made an impressive 12.5 tackles on defense.

ADM’s performance showcased their potential in their new class and their ability to stand strong against tough opponents like Lewis Central, a top Class 4A team in Iowa. While they didn’t secure the victory, their determination and competitiveness shows potential for their future games. A long road ahead of them in their future matchups. Especially when it comes to district 5 games, with the first being against Boone on September 22nd.

Unfortunately the Tigers lost their starting running back. The Tigers could potentially be getting their starting original center, Lincoln Banwart, this week. Who had surgery before the week 1.  A player who could be helpful to the running game or give the Tigers QB Flora enough time to pass and look for his targets down the field.
