Johnny Gardner, age 39, 34952 Del Rio Rd, Dexter, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault, Obstruction Of Emergency Communications and Child Endangerment.

David Jones, Boone, was driving in the 12000 block of S Ave, when he lost control and entered the ditch.  He was treated by EMS at the scene.  Damage to Mr. Jones’ vehicle was estimated at $4000 and was towed from the scene.

Aug. 8

Conner McChesney, age 26, 2024 4th Str, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Person Ineligible To Carry Dangerous Weapons.

Michael Kielty, age 47, 1200 University, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Theft 4th Degree.

Aug. 9

Felix Yoni, age 21, was arrested for Public Intoxication.  He was also cited for Striking Fixtures Upon A Highway, No Valid Drivers License, Failure To Maintain Control and Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability.  There was an investigation for an accident that occurred involving Mr. Yoni also.  He was driving near 22322 280th St, when he went into the ditch.

Annie Brown, age 26, 210 S. Prairie View Dr, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Brysen Heinkel, Perry, was traveling on 180th St at J Ave, when he swerved to avoid a deer and went into the ditch.  The vehicle came to rest on it’s top.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $10000.

Aug. 10

Mason Hasty, age 29, 1219 Trenton Ave, Stuart, was arrested for Harassment.

Blake Brewer, age 32, 606 South Main St, Woodward, was arrested for Interference With Official Acts and Public Intoxication.

Amanda Godwin, age 41, 4 Johns St, Indianola, was arrested for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Brian Cornish, Des Moines, was driving on I80 near the 105 mile marker, when he swerved to avoid being hit by another vehicle, causing him to lose control and hit the cable barrier.  He was not injuried and declined EMS.  His vehicle had an estimated $2500 damage and was towed from the scene.
