5:21am: A deputy assisted the Greene County Ambulance in the 300 blk of State Street in Paton.

6:28am: A deputy was advised of a careless driver entering Greene County from Webster County on N Avenue. The deputy was able to locate the vehicle and perform a traffic stop.

6:52am: A deputy responded to a car versus deer accident in the 1500 blk of 235th Street. Unit 1 was a black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado operated by John Ades (47) of Rippey. Unit 1 sustained $2,000 in damages.

9:52am: A deputy was advised of a careless driver in the 1400 blk of E Avenue, the deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

11:48am: A deputy investigated an assault in the 200 blk of Cartwright Street in Rippey.

1:56pm: A deputy met with a Webster County deputy in the 900 blk of N Avenue to pick up an inmate.

2:20pm: Brent Cooper (40) of Vincent, IA was booked into the Greene County Jail. Brent was booked on failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance – marijuana, and driving while license denied or revoked.

6:43pm: A deputy was advised of a child custody issue in the 900 blk of Locust Street in Scranton.

8:23pm: A deputy was advised of a transient in the 1400 blk of I Avenue.

8:38pm: A deputy investigated a call of a burn ban violation in the 600 blk of Main Street East in Grand Junction.

9:06pm: A deputy located a vehicle on the side of the road in the 1900 blk of 220th Street.

Saturday, September 9th

8:42am: Royce Gonnelly (32) of Jefferson was booked into the Greene County Jail. Royce was booked in for harassment 1st degree, assault causing bodily injury or mental illness, and driving while license denied or revoked.

7:19pm: Royce Gonnelly (32) of Jefferson was booked into the Greene County Jail. Royce was booked for theft 5th degree.

7:23pm: A deputy performed a welfare check in the 700 blk of Main Street in Scranton.

7:36pm: A deputy checked on a motorist in the 1900 blk of 220th Street.

Sunday, September 10th

12:25pm: A deputy investigated a violation of a no contact order in the 600 blk of State Street in Scranton.

12:43pm: A deputy was advised of a littering complaint in the 1200 blk of 210th Street.

4:53pm: A deputy was advised of a cat bite in the 1200 blk of 305th Street.

8:04pm: A deputy was advised of a car versus deer accident in the 1200 blk of M Avenue. The driver Trenton Custer (20) of Jefferson was operating a blue 2013 Ford F-250. The vehicle sustained $2,000 in damages.

8:59pm: A deputy was advised of a careless driver in the 2400 blk of 220th Street.

11:59pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 600 blk of 15th Street South in Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
