The Panorama Panthers are heading to Guthrie Center tonight to take on the ACGC Chargers. This game will be counted as a conference match and a chance for the Panthers to secure a win. This location is so close to home that it almost feels like they’re playing in their own backyard.
The women Panthers are especially determined to end their recent losing streak, and this game against a close rival presents an excellent opportunity to do just that. Coach Mollie Sorber expressed her overall thoughts on how her team is growing by saying, “Heading to ACGC tomorrow, we are feeling prepared. From our last game vs Van Meter, we have worked and practiced on how we are going to improve our offense to keep the opposing team on their toes. ACGC is a great team, so we are looking forward to see what we can do tomorrow against then.”
Looking ahead to this new game, the team is excited about implementing some fresh strategies that might be the key to turning their season around. Coach Sorber shared her optimism, stating, “Aside from our streak, I am still pleased with how the girls are playing. They are implementing what we are practicing in action, now we are focusing on what we can do to take our game to the next level. I’ll be curious how we do with some new strategies in place.”
The game is scheduled to take place at ACGC High School and is set to kick off around 7:15 PM on Tuesday, September 12th. The Panthers are ready to give it their all and aim to secure a victory in this district game.
