The Jayettes took the volleyball court again on Monday night against the Nevada Cubs. Perry fell short losing 3-0 to Nevada in the match. Nevada won the first set pretty handily 25-6 to give the Cubs the 1-0 advantage in the match as a whole. Perry would make the second set a little closer but inevitably fall 25-14 in that set as well. Perry did everything in their power to extend the match in the third set but Nevada ended up sealing things in that third set as they won it 25-19. Senior Maci Tunick had 1.7 kills on the night for Perry, while senior Callie Steva had 2 blocks to help out the Jayettes.

Unfortunately, Perry fell to 3-9 on the season while the Nevada Cubs improve to 6-8. The volleyball team will be back in action this upcoming Saturday at the AC/GC volleyball invite at AC/GC high school. That tournament will start at 9 AM. I will provide updates after the tournament right here on KDLS and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
