Visitation for Connie Thompson, 70, of Van Meter,  will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Adel Chapel. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Van Meter Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Booneville Cemetery. Connie leaves behind her mother, Dixie; husband Dick; children, Carrie, Sheiry (Jason), Courtney, Amanda, Landan (Kristin), Wendy, Robyn (Jeff), and Nancy; sisters, Denise (Dan) Forret and Vickey (Mark) Benshoof; brother, Terrell (Vernone) Meldrem; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren she loved so very much. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends.
