boston-tea-party-program

Tomorrow is another Sunday event put on by the Greene County Historical Society.

A free program on the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, which happened on December 16, 1773, will start at 2pm with special guest speaker Mary Dolan, who is the Daughters of the American Revolution’s America 250! Committee National Vice-Chair. She will not only talk about the specific historical event, but other tea parties that were inspired by it.

The free program will be at the Greene County Historical Museum in Jefferson. Refreshments will also be served and will include authentic colonial-era tea served in teacups. The Greene County Historical Society and the Priscilla Alden Chapter of DAR are co-sponsoring this program.
