The Adel Public Library is going to continue to bring a tabletop fantasy game in for an annual monthly program.
Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says that “Dungeons and Dragons,” will now be a regular program at the library for the near future. Puck says they had an expert come into the library in August and teach the teenagers how to play. She mentions that they had such good feedback that they feel comfortable playing the table game more often in the library.
“It is a very fun activity. We do say that if you have no experience, you are welcome. You don’t have to have played Dungeons and Dragons in the past. If you have, great. We will provide all the character sheets, all of the materials and dice needed along with a super fun story and a chance to try your combat skills fighting orcs and goblins.”
Space is limited for this program so registration is needed. The action will go from 2 to 4pm tomorrow in the community for teens in 7th through 12th grades. Registration linked here.
