The AC/GC Chargers volleyball team is competing at home tonight.

The 13-4 Chargers will be hosting the 4-14 Woodward-Granger Hawks, and are 5-0 in conference, tied for first with the Des Moine Christian Lions, while the Hawks are 3-2 in conference, which puts them in 4th place.

Looking at statistical leaders for the Chargers, Junior Shay Lemke leads in assists and serve aces, with 368 total assists, averaging 7.1 per set, and averages .7 serve aces on 3.4 attempts per set. Freshman Stella Largent leads in kills with 3.5 per set for 19.5% and 4.3 points, while sophomore Camdyn Richter leads in blocks with 14, giving her .3 per set, and senior Hayden Coffman leads in digs, with 136 total, and averaging 2.6 per set.

For the Hawks, junior Anna Weaver leads in assists and serve aces, with 116 assists, averaging 3 per set, and .7 aces on 3.7 attempts per set. Fellow Junior Jocelyn Bowlsby leads in kills with 1.1 per set and a kill percentage of 8.3% for 1.5 points, while senior Alaysia McCord leads in blocks with 13 and averaging .3 per set, and sophomore Haley Hollingsworth leads in digs with 102, averaging 2.8 per set.

The Chargers and Hawks have met 15 times since 2009, with the series in favor of Woodward-Granger 10-5, though AC/GC won the last match. The game will be at AC/GC High School in the gymnasium, and is set to begin at 6:15pm.
