The Stuart Public Library has some fun returning and newer events coming up this month.
Rachel Majerus who works at the library says that they are bringing back a craft event and calling it October Crafternoons. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that these events will take place on Tuesdays from 2-3:30pm, and about what will go on during them.
“This is a social crafting opportunity for adults, and they can either choose to participate in a library-led group craft, or if they just want to bring in their own unfinished projects, they can work on that as well, and just use the time to socialize and spend time with like-minded people.”
Majerus mentions that the craft for the next Crafternoon will be canning ring rag sunflowers. She adds that there will also be a movie and a snack on October 9th for the early dismissal at West Central Valley, and that the library will be showing “Hocus Pocus.”
