12:04am: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on West Harrison Street and South West Street in Jefferson. Dale Spaulding 54 of Scranton was arrested for driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance 3 rd or subsequent offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

12:41am: A deputy investigated a noise complaint in the 600 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction.

1:46am: Dale Spaulding 54 of Scranton was booked into the jail for driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance 3 rd or subsequent offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

5:12am: A deputy investigated an assault in the 600 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction. Timothy Ray 49 of Grand Junction was arrested for assault.

9:40am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on Bell Street and Fitzpatrick Street, Churdan.

10:34am: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 600 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction.

12:51pm: A deputy, Grand Junction Fire and Jefferson Fire responded to structure fire in the 2300 block of X Avenue. The fire to the structure was caused by a brush pile that the property owner had started on fire. Logan Streadman 22 of Perry was charged with reckless use of fire.

2:11pm: A deputy investigated a no contact order violation in the 600 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction.

4:05pm: Ian Patterson 43 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

6:31pm: A deputy investigated an open door in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

7:08pm: A deputy investigated a fire in a ditch in the 300 block of T Avenue. The fire was an unreported controlled burn. The property owner put the fire out.

9:49pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1600 block of 243 rd Street.

10:09pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a consent search in the 600 block of West Monroe Street, Jefferson.

Wednesday, October 4th

12:48am: James Pena 25 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for an arrest warrant for driving while suspended.

11:05am: Justin Lopez 25 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense (2 counts) and failure to appear.

1:40pm: William Weis 50 of Council Bluffs was booked into the jail for a violation of pretrial release.

2:52pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 700 block of North Street, Churdan.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
