Antique and vintage vehicles along with newer sports cars and trucks will line up in downtown Perry this weekend.
The PerryDice Cruizers Car Club will put on their 7th annual car show from 10 to 2pm on Saturday on Second Street and they will welcome all vehicles. There will be no registration fee for anyone wanting to join this event and the first 100 arrivals will receive a free dash plaque. PerryDice Cruizer Club Member Dean Berkland says that they will ask for free donations with all the proceeds going to the Raccoon River Pet Rescue.
“Last year. I gave it to the fire department and I hear the pet rescue needs some money to keep their things rolling. So I thought that I love pets, so I thought that I would be the next one to benefit from this.”
Berkland encourages attendees to come in on First Street and take a left on Willis Avenue (by the Hotel Pattee) because Second Street will be blocked off from Willis to Lacinda for this event.
