A local business will recognize people in service in Perry today. 

Perry Hy Vee will host “Public Safety Day,” with the  Perry Police and Fire Department along with the Perry Public Works and Emergency Medical Services Departments in attendance. The event will take place from 10 to 1pm in the HyVee parking lot. The free event will have a special fly in from lifeflight as well as the Blank Park Hospital’s SmokeHouse and people can take pictures with first responders.
