Dallas Center-Grimes football defeated Winterset in their last home football game of the season in Week 8.

The Final Score was 31-10 which improved the Mustangs record to (4-4) with a (3-1) district record. Senior Quarterback Ty Mikkelsen passed the ball 17 times and completed 13 for 179 yards and two touchdowns. The leading receiver was senior Eddie Pyne will five receptions for 76 yards. Sophomore Hudson Heidgerken and freshman Wyatt Valenta both caught touchdown passes.

The rushing attack was exceptional for the Mustangs. As a team they ran the ball 44 times for 170 yards and senior Eli Carpenter was the leading rusher 89 yards and one touchdown. The defensed caused two turnovers and only allowed 10 points. The leading tackler was senior linebacker Lane Nelsen with six and five deferent players had one tackle for loss. Carson Duey and Aiden Charlson both recovered a fumble. Sophomore kicker Dylan Lackland knocked down a 31 yard field goal and was perfect of PATs.
